Spaghetti Bolognese

Bolognese sauce is a meat based sauce with origins in Bologna, Italy. Go ahead and enjoy this simple yet delicious Italian dish!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

  • Cooking oil / olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • Chicken keema / chicken mince / Heat & Serve keema - 150 gms
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Carrots - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic cloves - 2, finely chopped
  • Tomato puree - 1 tbsp.
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 bunch - spaghetti
  • Water
  • 50 gms. - grated cheese
How to prepare Spaghetti Bolognese: 
  • Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the chicken mince / chicken keema in it. In case you are in a hurry, you can use the heat & serve Chicken keema. Stir and make sure that the keema / mince does not stick at the bottom of the pan.
  • Once the mince begins to cook and releases the juices, add the finely chopped vegetables and garlic and sauté them. In about 3 - 4 minutes you will see that the vegetables are beginning to cook and become soft.
  • Add the salt, pepper and tomato puree and mix well.
  • Add water to the sauce and simmer the heat. Allow the water to dry.
  • In a separate pan, boil water and add spaghetti  pasta. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes or till the spaghetti is soft. Drain the water.
  • Sprinkle the parmesan / cheddar cheese and serve!
